I feel very happy to inaugurate this BAPU TOWER, PATNA today on 02-10-2024.

As we know 2^nd October is the Birthday of our Father of the Nation Mohan Das Karamchand Gandhi ji and I find this day very auspicious for this inauguration.

From my childhood, I had great love and respect for Gandhi Ji . My father Late Kaviraj Ram Lakhan Singh was also a freedom fighter and due to it I had an opportunity to meet many other freedom fighters.

Our Beloved Bapu was truly a man with iron spine. His life is full of lessons for people of all ages. As a normal human being, he might be having some shortcomings too. But he was always in the side of TRUTH and NON- VIOLENCE. His Principles of “Development with Social Justice“ has been the epicenter of my Public Service Life also. He was a great supporter of Simple Living and High Thinking. He had a true passion for Cleanliness and Hygiene and he did not hesitate to clean public places by himself. He forbade people to consume alcohol. He always lauded against dowry in marriages. He always wanted India to prosper sustainably and he wished people of all castes and creeds to live with harmony.

This BAPU TOWER is one of my favorite Projects. And I wish people from all over the world, especially from my own state Bihar, and I wish most of the Children and Young people to come and see this museum at least once and get knowledge about Bapu and about how our freedom fighters sacrificed their whole life so that we may live in a free nation.

We should not only know the life and principles of Gandhi Ji but also try to imbibe them in our lives.
